Itinerary

Basic Route Map: Delhi - Shimla - Kalpa - Kaza - Kibber - Rangrik - Langza - Chandratal - Rohtang - Manali-Delhi


Day 0 :

Delhi to Shimla (357 Km) Reach Delhi airport by 6:00 PM


Day 1: 

Shimla (7,200 ft) - Narkanda - Sarahan - Kalpa (8,900 ft) (250 Km)

We ride through the hills of Shimla and reach Kinnaur filled with Apple orchids all along the way, Kalpa Suicide Point

Day 2 :

Kalpa (8,900 ft) - Nako - Tabo - Kaza (12,500 ft) (197 Km)

We get to enter the Spiti valley on Day 02 and witness the transitions in landscape from hill stations of Kinnaur to the villages of Spiti's cold deserts.

Day 3 : 

Key Monastery (13,600 ft) - Kibber - Chicham bridge - Rangrik/Kaza (12,500 ft) (30 km)

Chicham Bridge - A bridge which holds the title of being the highest suspension bridge in Asia

Kibber - One of the oldest villages of the valley which is famous for Snow leopard expeditions

Key Monastery - One of the oldest monasteries in the valley


Day 4 : 

Langza (14,500 ft) - Hikkim - Komic - Langza (14,500 ft) (20Km)

Hikkim - A village with the highest Post office in the world and also the highest polling booth in the world

Komic - the highest village in Asia connected by a motorable road,

Langza - The fossil village where you get to see fossils that are dated thousands of years old and Statue of Lord Buddha. One of the best days for ‘Night photography’ and ‘Astrophotography’


Day 5 : 

Kaza/Langza (12,500 ft) - Chandratal (14,100 ft) (110Km)

Chandratal (14,100 ft) - Rohtang Pass - Manali (13,000 ft) (200Km)

Reaching Manali via Rohtang pass


Day 7 :

Manali sightseeing

This day also acts as a buffer day since the road from Chandratal to Manali has a high probability of roadblocks.

Visit Hadimba Devi temple, Vashishth temple, and hot spring. Small hike to Jogini waterfalls, go to cafe and shop in Old Manali.

Manali-Delhi (555 Km)
