The cantonment town of Lansdowne is a laid-back scenic spot  and one of most beautiful places to visit near Jim Corbett National Park. It was named after the then viceroy of India. Garjiya Devi Temple is a famous Hindu pilgrimage site that is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and also houses idols of Devi Saraswati, Lord Ganesha and Batuk Bhairava. Garjiya Devi Temple is located on the outskirts of Corbett National Park in Garjiya village near Ramnagar. This must visit temple is built on a rock in the middle of Kosi River and it is simply a worth visiting attraction.

Corbett Falls is a scenic waterfall located at 25 kms from Ramnagar. Developed as a picnic spot for tourists, Corbett Waterfalls is surrounded by dense teak wood forest which extends its natural beauty. Sound of the waterfall makes a perfect melody with chippings of the birds.


Named after the mighty Lord Shiva, Mukteshwar is a small quaint town in the Kumaon Hills of Uttarakhand. The town has a chilly average altitude of 2700m above sea level and is filled with heartwarming sights to see and enjoy.
